onemoresolo asked: To the girl with a sophisticated, whiskey-inclined tongue: What's your favorite variety (scotch, bourbon, whisky, etc) and how do you take it?

Dancing to Otis in my chore clothes (including bean boots) as I walk shimmy and shake the 150 yards from the paddock to the house, shouting the lyrics to the quiet country sky, is sometimes so ridiculous, it feels so right.  My favorite places to break out in what I call dance?  Grocery store, friends’ houses, parking lots, empty streets. What about you?

French Apple Tart
the-chic-life: A delicious yet simple dessert. I found this recipe in a Williams-Sonoma cookbook that I have, but you can find it online here. I didn’t decide to make this last night until right before dinner so to save time I used puff pastry for the crust. The whole thing took under an hour to make and the end result was delicious!!
