Happy Father’s day, Poppa.
Since the day you met mom, you have been an amazing step dad to Ethan, and an amazing father to Taylor and I. The hard work and love you bring into our family, the advice, the adventures, you are the best man I could have ever had asked for a father. Compassionate to the causes that mom, Taylor and I champion. Thank you for the education in life and academia you have provided. Thank you for the trips to the coast, to the midwest and to the south. The trips to Canada and Hawaii. The long talks when we cross state lines, the talks about life, or the world. The stories of my history, and yours. About your own father, who passed before I was able to really know him. I love you. More than I can put into words. Thank you. I will always be your youngest daughter, the one who was always a little too scared to swim in the deep end, or looked distrusting at strangers. Now I am just a little older, scared of different things and my distrust is usually more well founded. I credit that to the family you and mom built, and the opportunities you have given us all. Thank you, again.
