  6. wolvesvslions said: I’ve designed alot of resumes and the most important aspect is to make sure it fits the industry you want to join and that the relative and important subjects are easy to find and organized so that the employer can gather the information quickly
  7. pardonmyreach said: Start with your experiences that are most relevant to the position you are seeking. Educational, professional, or personal. Organize the rest from there. Send me a copy if you need another review, I’ve gone through enough to know what works.
  8. vermontlawgirl said: At least in the legal world the cover letter should be a page long, around 4 paragraphs. Intro, why their firm and how you’d fit, your motivation in their field and experience, closing paragraph. I could send you one of mine if you’d like.
  9. dcpnomadictraveler said: Happy to look at it and help if I can, don’t profess to be a resume expert but I run a global team of creative and product managers so I know what I’d look for.

  14. crimesofthebelovedfool said: We are working on the same thing! I just realized how much resumes have changed. I just figured out that objectives are obsolete, and that’s what the cover letter is for.
  15. dmtumbles said: Private message me what you need help on.
  16. jenni-rose said: For the letter, make sure you include some keywords from the job description. A lot of companies just run them through programs to pick out keywords and ignore the ones that don’t have them.
  17. foxwithsocks said: I can help you out if you need an extra eye. My biggest advice is to write a lot about the jobs/classes you enjoyed
  18. thenocoast said: Actually, if you are geniuinely looking for help yes I can. I have a decent amount of interviewing experience as well. Hit the ask for my e-mail and I’ll be glad to critique it for you.
