What's one lesson you learned from your parents that you want to pass on to the next generation?
My dad once tried to tell me about how ‘You can always see the shit.’ Which I thought meant that you can always tell when someone is bullshitting you.
He meant that if a farmer isn’t putting on the fertilizer, then it might not show at first, the crops will grow, but not as well as they would with it.
You can do all the work, every part and it shows. Or you half ass it, and it shows. Maybe not right away, but in the end.
That was a pretty significant day, and pretty significant advice in my opinion.
