the moments when you remember as a child run too fast, fall, unexplainable hurt,
unsteadily get to your feet looking for a familiar face, tears streaking down yours
and you seek your mother’s.
The moments where you remember falling asleep in someone else’s arms.
And yet you will go to bed alone,
with out the guarantee of sleep,
or the comfort of your mother’s face.
